From 2nd to 23rd August 2018, eighteen Korean students from Halla University, Korea have been selected to participate in Cross-Culture and English Training program for three weeks organized by International Cooperation Centre (ICC) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. On this occasion Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs, KMUTNB made the opening speech and welcomed the students; on the first part of the project Korean students met Thai students from KMUTNB and got information about the Campus and basic Thai language skills, useful for living in Thailand. KMUTNB provided native English speaking teachers for the morning session in the class plus workshops such as: Web Development at IT Faculty, Thai Traditional Painting at Faculty of Architecture and Design, Robot at Faculty of Engineering, Basic First AID: CPR & AED at International College and Thai boxing and Thai Garland. Moreover Korean and Thai students prepared a Cultural Exchange class where both Koreans and Thais performed their traditions. The outdoor part of the project consists in: Visit Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Temples and Elephant Camp, visit KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus and Nakhon Nayok area for activities and sightseeing. Cross-Culture and English Training is a milestone for the relationship between KMUTNB and Halla University Korea, where students from both universities improve English skills doing an international experience and make new friends; this make Cross-Culture and English Training a very successful project.
