From 28 January to 15 February 2019, International Cooperation Centre (ICC) KMUTNB, organized “Cross-Culture and English Training” winter project for fourteen selected students from Halla University, Republic of Korea. On this occasion Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs together with Ms. Phimvalanch Moosikaphan, ICC Director, KMUTNB, welcomed Korean students and gave the opening speech. KMUTNB’s students joined the project together with Korean students and participated in activities and cultural visits. Halla’s students attended English class at KMUTNB in order to improve their English skills, KMUTNB also provide several workshops such as robotic class, Thai traditional painting, ceramic & pottery class, self-defense and Thai boxing class, cooking class and Thai garland class. Moreover Korean and Thai students visited Phra Nakhorn Si Ayutthaya Palace and temples, elephant camp, Golden Mount temples and Rattanakosin exhibition hall. In the end of the project students from Halla University, Republic of Korea presented their projects to the audience which it shows the differences about university life, food, transportation, culture, entertainment and social life between Korea and Thailand. Cross-Culture and English Training winter project it has been another amazing successful step in the growing partnership between Halla University, Korean and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.
