During 18 20 June 2019, Mr. Teo Kian Hun, Mr. Seow Boon Chor and Ms. Zhu Ming Xia, LeX Facilitator from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerapong Pornwongthong, LeX Team Leader and Facilitator, Associate Dean for Research and Development, Faculty of Applied Science KMUTNB, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pawita Maneemai, Lex Facilitator, Head of Department of Social and Business, College of Industrial Technology KMUTNB, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakultala Wannapakhe, Lex Facilitator, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Faculty of Industrial Technology and Management (KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus), Dr. Phanita Phakdi, CIT Lecture, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pianpool Kirdwichai, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Applied Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitirat Thawornsujaritkul, Associate Dean for Administration, Faculty of Business Administration (KMUTNB Rayong) and Ms. Phimvalanch Moosikaphan, Lex Coordinator, Director of International Cooperation Centre (ICC), Office of the President, KMUTNB visited Prachinburi province due to the LeX project 2019 between KMUTNB and Singapore Polytechnic (SP). Facilitators from KMUTNB and SP had a meeting with Associate Professor Dr. Anirach Mingkhwan, Dean Faculty of Industrial Technology and Management (KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus) and visited the facilities inside the campus. Furthermore LeX facilitators visited the Prachinburi City Hall and had a meeting with Mr. Piboon Hatthakitkosol, Prachinburi Provincial Governor to report the progress of preparation for the project that will be held on 2-3 September 2019. LeX facilitators visited tree sites in Prachinburi in order to develop the area with the new methodology of design thinking to uncover insights and identify the unmet needs in the rural communities, which will help farmers and local community alongside students from KMUTNB and SP. The tree sites visited: 1) Integrating farming community (focus hydroponic vegetable) at Baan Hua Khao, 2) To increase productivity and promote commercialization of local product at Baan Nong Thnak, 3) Integrated farm community (focus wooden digging around) at Baan Nong Pued.
